TM.Biz Copyright, Trademark, Abuse and Impersonation Policies
TM.Biz is designed to serve trademark professionals and brand owners by protecting trademarks on social networks. All new accounts are reviewed to ensure users represent legitimate trademark owners or related service providers.
To Rights Owners: Obviously, TM.Biz respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Services to do the same.
However, if you feel that TM.Biz is violating your rights, or you feel one of our users is infringing on your rights, please notify us immediately so we can respond to your complaint.
To Social Network Operators: TM.Biz has in place certain mechanisms to avoid users abusing our service, and by extension, those of the social networks we follow. This includes caching of searches and rate-limiting of end-users. However, if you feel that TM.Biz is violating the terms of your service through the provisioning of our services to trademark owners, or if you feel one of our users is violating the terms of your service, please notify us immediately so we can respond to your complaint.

TM.Biz respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Services to do the same. We will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law and are properly provided to us. If you believe that your Content has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide us with the following information: (i) a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf; (ii) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (iii) identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material; (iv) your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and an email address; (v) a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (vi) a statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
We reserve the right to remove Content alleged to be infringing without prior notice and at our sole discretion. In appropriate circumstances, TM.Biz will also terminate a user's account if the user is determined to be an infringer. Using a company or business name, logo, or other trademark-protected materials in a manner that may mislead or confuse others with regard to its brand or business affiliation may be considered a trademark policy violation.
When we receive reports of trademark policy violations from holders of federal or international trademark registrations, we review the account and may take the following actions:
When there is a clear intent to mislead others through the unauthorized use of a trademark, TM.Biz will suspend the account and notify the account holder.
When we determine that an account appears to be confusing users, but is not purposefully passing itself off as the trademarked good or service, we give the account holder an opportunity to clear up any potential confusion. We may also release a username for the trademark holder's active use.
In order to investigate trademark policy violations, please provide all of the following information:
- Username of the reported account
- Your company name:
- Your company TM.Biz account (if there is one):
- Company website:
- Your trademarked word, symbol, etc.
- Trademark registration number:
- Trademark registration office (e.g., USPTO):
Note: A federal or international trademark registration number is not required. If the name you are reporting is not a registered mark.
Please also provide the following:
- Your first and last name:
- Email (must be from company domain):
- Description of confusion (e.g., passing off as your company, including specific descriptions of content or behavior):
- Requested Action (e.g., removal of violating account or transfer of trademarked username to an existing company account):
Holders of registered trademarks can report possible trademark policy violations by submitting a support ticket request. Please submit trademark-related requests from your company email address and follow the format above to help expedite our response. Also be sure to clearly describe to us why the account may cause confusion with your mark or how the account may dilute or tarnish your mark.

Impersonation is pretending to be another person or entity in order to deceive. Impersonation is a violation of the TM.Biz Terms and may result in permanent account suspension and loss of reserved user names. Companies and businesses should report accounts misusing their trademarks or brands by filing a complaint under our Trademark Policy.
TM.Biz processes impersonation reports from the user being impersonated or someone legally authorized to act on behalf of the user/entity.
In order to investigate impersonation, we need the following information:
- Username of the person impersonating you (or the URL of their profile page):
- Your First and Last Name:
- Your TM.Biz username (if you have one):
- Brief description of the impersonating content:
